dorky We visited our new home today (omg moving in a week panic) and while we adults sat at the coffee table the younger one played outside... with the giant parasol. She opened and closed it, until, whoops, the handle detached! What did she do? Well, naturally, she screwed it back on!
We laughed on how we're already reserving a spot in Technical College for her.
The older came home from his father later today. She phoned home really excited. He'd bought her a Harry Potter book yesterday, and she was already on page 136! Ah, a nerd in the making. And she's SO prepubertal. Is that a word? Well it is now. Even my mom made a mention of it.

Oh, I thought since you knew Snake... MGS is short for Metal Gear Solid, the game with Snake in it. Anyway, let me confess: It's not his looks as much as his totally winning personality. Uh, or maybe just the dry humor.
